About Us

Attiki Gaea is a five-acre family farm about 65 kilometers from the center of Athens, in the northeastern corner of the prefecture of Attica. It is an easy 40-minute drive on the E65 (National Road Athens-Lamia), followed by a five-minute drive along the local provincial roads where the farm is established.
Situated on a hill, the farm has a panoramic view across the Gulf of Evia to the mountains of that beautiful island to the north, and of the serene and pastoral olive groves that surround it to the south.
In the fertile soil of Attica, we are cultivating a combination of aromatic plants such as lavender, oregano, herbal tea (sideritis), rose, jasmine, honeysuckle, and laurel, as well as traditional staples such as wheat and olives, along with a variety of fruits, berries, and nut trees. Our goal is to maintain a natural polyculture farming ecosystem and to preserve soil nutrients without the use of chemicals and pesticides.
Through the blessings of the Almighty, the first year of our cultivation has been met with great success. Mother Earth gave back an abundance of fruits--oregano, tea, lavender and wheat--that surpassed all our expectations. Meanwhile, the extraordinary feedback that we received from our extended family, friends and acquaintances about the taste and quality of our products reinforced our serious interest in natural farming.
In furtherance of our goals, we attended workshops on sustainable agriculture through natural means, and by the end of 2018 we officially became authorized by the Greek Ministry of Agriculture as farmers. Although we still have a long way to go, we have begun to offer our organic produce—nature’s bounty—to those who consciously seek out and appreciate purity in food. Our motto is:
“Food you eat, not food that eats you.”
